The Ingres Users Association (UK IUA)has decided to rename itself the Actian Users Association (UK AUA) to reflect the fact that the majority of our members are interested in the entire range of Actian products, including OpenROAD and Vectorwise. We hope that everyone feels more included now, and we look forward to users of new and future Actian products participating in the organization and its annual conferences.
On 8 September 2011, Meteorite Consulting is hosting the inaugural UK Open Source BI User Group Event. The UK OSBI User Group aims to provide information to help organisations select and implement innovative commercial and open source business intelligence, data warehousing and data integration solutions.
Even if you didn't attend the sprints you can still support the UK IUA by buying the t-shirt, and salve your conscience by resolving to attend next year's sprints.
